An organization is your team’s account. Everything in Onecortex belongs to one: agents, API keys, GitHub connections, configuration, members and alerts. Nothing in one organization can be seen or called from another: an agent in another organization answers 404, exactly as if it did not exist. When you sign up, Onecortex creates an organization for you, and you are its owner.

Name and slug

Change both on Settings, under Organization.
  • Name: 1 to 60 characters.
  • Slug: 2 to 40 lower case letters, numbers and hyphens, starting and ending with a letter or number. A few are reserved, such as api, app, docs and support: That name is reserved. Choose another.

Several organizations

You can belong to more than one organization, for example your own and a client’s. Switch between them from the menu under your name. Each has its own agents and keys, and an API key only ever calls agents in the organization that created it.

Roles

Each member is an owner or a member. An organization always has at least one owner: the last owner cannot be removed. Beyond that, owners and members can do the same things today. Finer roles are not offered yet.

Limits

20 agents and 10 members per organization, during the private beta. Settings shows your organization’s limits. See Limits.
